Over these two decades, Marina de Albufeira has been honoured at an internacional level by several occasions.
In addition to receiving 5 gold anchors from The Yacht Harbour Association/British Marine Federation, in 2015, it was considered the 2nd Best International Marina.
In 2022, it was also certified by the same organisation with the International Clean Marina award.
At national level, in 2023, it was awarded with the Blue Flag for the 20th consecutive year, represented in Portugal by ABBAE - Associação da Bandeira Azul de Ambiente e Educação.

Marina de Albufeira is located on the west side of the city.
Access by sea should be done around 315º, to enter between the sea walls into the Harbour.
By car, Marina de Albufeira is 10 km from the A2, which connects the Algarve to Lisbon, and 40 km from Faro International Airport.
The nearest train station is 6 km away, more precisely in the village of Ferreiras.
